Pokhara University starts classes in MSC Structural Engineering

Pokhara, April 18: The Pokhara University has started classes in MSC Structural Engineering subject in view of its importance in the rebuilding effort in a post-quake scenario.

University’s Registrar Govinda Prasad Sharma said the classes were started as the use of the knowledge of structural engineering had become essential in the country during the reconstruction phase after the massive earthquake.

The varsity has introduced structural engineering which has been launched as an optional subject. A total of 15 students have currently taken up the subject.

Pokhara University’s Vice Chancellor, Prof Chiranjibi Prasad Sharma, said during a one-day orientation programme on Monday that the varsity would introduce new programmes for upgrading its quality. RSS
