Four members of single family commit suicide in Banepa

Banepa, July 22: Four members of the same family of Banepa-2, Tukuchanala committed suicide at Banepa of Kavrepalanchowk district on Friday.

The deceased are Haribhakta Dahal, 65, his wife Harimaya Dahal, 60, their son Rajaram Dahal, 32, and daughter Ranjana Dahal, 25, of Banepa-8, said Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) at the District Police Office, Kavrepalanchowk, Nabin Raj Rai.

They committed suicide consuming poison following a dispute over a matter of marriage of Ranjita. 

Police said that investigation into the incident was underway. They all consumed poison after locking the door from inside the Banepa-8, Gautam Bhojanalaya. RSS
