Pasang Lhamu highway opens

Rasuwa, July 22: The Ramche-Syaubari section of the Pasang Lhamu highway has been opened for vehicular traffic.The section was blocked due to the deposition of landslide debris on the road. The road section has been opened since Friday evening after the debris was removed using a dozer.

The Traffic Police Office, Rasuwa stated that scores of vehicles stranded there have headed to their respective destinations and the office was managing the traffic on the highway.

A local social worker, Cham Singh Tamang said two dozers were employed to remove the landslide debris on the road at Kalika Rural Municipality-1.

Likewise, the road between Timure and Ghattekhola has also been cleared, and merchandise trucks and containers have been operating to and from the Nepal-China border transit point, the border police outpost, Timure stated. RSS
