Pedestrian killed, two injured in bike accident

Ratnanagar (Chitwan), Feb 25: A pedestrian was killed after being struck by a motorbike at the bypass road in Bharatpur, Chitwan last night.

The motorbike (Na 25 Pa 3839) heading towards the central bus park from Aanptaari area in Bharatpur rammed the pedestrian in front of the Boudha Gumba in Bharatpur – 11 at 9:30 pm.

Bir Bahadur BK, 54, was seriously injured after being hit by the motorbike and died in course of treatment at the Bharatpur Medical College, police said.

Motorbike rider, Narendra Thapa, 20, of Bharatpur – 10 and pillion rider, Bikram Tamang, 19, of Dhading were injured in the accident. They are undergoing treatment at the same hospital. Thapa is reported to be in critical condition. RSS
