Two dead in separate bike accidents

Chitwan, July 19: Two persons were killed and two others injured in separate motorbike accidents in the district.

According to District Police Office, Chitwan, Balram Bhandari 48, of Bhimsennagar died after his bike (Na 42 Pa 281) en route to Parbatipur from Geetanagar swerved out of control and crashed at Birendra Chowk of Bharatpur Metropolitan City – 14 at 11 PM.

Balram’s wife, Padma Bhandari, 45, was injured in the accident. She is receiving treatment at the Chitwan Medical College.  Bhandari died at 12:15 am in course of treatment.

In another incident, Sabitri Chaudhary, 45, died after getting rammed by a motorbike (Na 42 Pa 4031) at Bachauli area of Ratnanagar municipality – 6 in eastern Chitwan last night. She died on the way to Bharatpur for treatment.

Rajendra Chaudhary was injured in the accident and is receiving treatment at Chitwan Medical College. He is reported to be out of danger. The accident took place at 9:10 pm. The motorbike heading towards Tandi from Sauraha rammed the duo. Police have taken the rider under control. RSS
