General strike disrupts normal life in Morang

Biratnagar, Feb 22: Normal life has been disrupted in Morang with the general strike called by United Democratic Madhesi Front (UDMF).

The long and short route vehicles have stayed off the road while motorbikes and CT Safari vehicles are seen plying the roads in less number. The general strike has also affected the educational institutes with most private schools shutdown for the day.

District Police Office, Morang has said it has not yet been informed on any untoward incidents. The UDMF is protesting the government’s announcement of date of local level polls. RSS
