Kathmandu, March 1: The united democratic Madhesi front (UDMF) has reiterated its stand that it would not participate in election if the constitution amendment was bypassed.
The UDMF meeting held Tuesday demanded the government to proceed with the constitution amendment, said leader Keshav Jha, adding that it would hold serious discussion with the Prime Minister on Wednesday.
The revision of the amendment could be adjusted again to pass the amendment bill, according to him.
The UDMF would resort to withdrawal of support to government as ultimate step to press it for constitution amendment, he added. RSS
