“No election without amendment in constriction,” states Yadav

Parsa, March 20: Federal Socialist Forum Nepal (FSFN) Chairman Upendra Yadav has clarified there would not be local level election on May 14 this year unless the constitution amendment bill registered at the Parliament was endorsed with revision.
At a mass meet organized by the FSFN Parsa Chapter on Sunday, Chairman Yadav argued that the favorable political climate in the Terai would be enabled only when the constitution amendment bill was endorsed considering amendment in it.
The former Minister for Foreign Affairs accused the incumbent government of imposing the local level election without addressing the demands of the Madheshi, Muslims, Dalit and indigenous nationalities.
He also dubbed the major opposition-CPN-UML- as a major culprit of the Saptari incident that occurred on March 6 where four persons died in police firing and several others injured after police opened fire at the protesters supporting the United Democratic Front tried to disrupt the UML’s function in Maleth VDC near Rajbiraj in Saptari.
On the occasion, Yadav welcomed the new cadres to his party with garland and vermillion. RSS
