Bananas are nature’s great snacks which are full of vital nutrients. Bananas are the great source of potassium. Potassium is an important mineral which helps our body in maintaining proper heart function and regulating the blood pressure. It also decreases the chance of heart attack and stroke. Similarly the potassium present in banana benefits the kidney and bone.
Bananas are the source of high energy. Professional athletes eat bananas just before and even during their sports to maintain a constant energy level. Bananas boost vitamin and mineral but the energy release will be much more consistent. A small banana contains about 100 calories-they’re a good choice for weight loss too.
Bananas contain enough fiber required for our body to function well and improve our digestion. Fiber is needed to help food travel smoothly through the digestive tract and also improves the bowel movements which prevents our body from constipation. Bananas are also rich in fructo-oligosaccharides (FOS) which is a prebiotic that feeds a bacteria to survive in our digestive track. this bacteria help to absorb nutrients more efficiently.
Bananas are high in vitamin B6. Vitamin B6 creates hemoglobin which is essential element for healthy blood. This vitamin also maintains proper blood sugar level. Similarly, it also synthesizes and breaks down amino acids. Further more, it also produces antibodies for strong immune system.
Banana is also well known for preventing the skin conditions like psoriasis and acne. Banana’s skin contains a type of fatty acid which cures such skin conditions like psoriasis and acne. Bananas also prevent the skin pimples and moisturize the skin.
Bananas are also known as cancer fighters. Fully ripe bananas contain compound called TNF–a ie a cytokine which increases the white blood cell count and enhances immunity, combating cancerous cell changes in our body.
